Silkviolet was only available if you added it on to the list of extras when pre odering a nova gsi(in the gsi range) as new, also same applied with mistral gray and i think star silver also..

Breeze blue was avaialble on MK2s only, it was opn SRs, SRis and Flares, of the four colours the SR(i)s were avaialble in it seems to be the rarist, however theres still plenty about.
Silk violet wasnt limited to just GSis, Luxes were also available in it.
According tho my 1992 range brochure the only colour that was a 'Cost Option' was black - this is due to black showing every small dent in shells, even new ones, so a specially good body would be sourced when painting it black.

The Blue flairs are actually Porto Blue. Just slightly different to the breeze blue on the sri's.
Breeze blue is a gorgeous colour though!
lazer line blue is the best blue they painted a nova 8)

Thats a good point when i went to get some touch up paint for my sr it came back as porto blue on the vin plate. Does this sound odd or did they make sr in porto blue?

Same as my flair then Andy. Took the paint code off of the steel plate on the slam pannel to the paint shop and it came up Porto blue. And it is different to Breeze...

Na it wasnt repainted and the plates looked like they had been there a long time. Wierd. It was a late registered h reg so i wonder if that had ought to do with it?
