today i as i was pulling away from a a3 1.8t the car started to cut out in forth. then in fifth.
i was going up a hill too.
the car last week was also not starting proper on first turn.

i think it is this.
couple of weeks ago a borrowed a fuel pump off riggy as i had killed my diamphram damper to the fuel pump.
i think te fuel pump that i borrowed off riggy is not stroong enough to keep pressure up on the engine.

so, to help me conclude this, is the gsi fuel pump a bigger fuel pump to other injected modeled nova's. (as unsure to what car pump came from)

cheers

just looked up on autodata mate

the GSi's run at 2.5BAR, this is regulated down to 2BAR. The Cav GSi's run 2.7BAR and is regulated down to 2.2BAR. So you 'should' be ok, only thing that I can think of is that you are not flowing enough fuel through. Something to try would be the relay, change it with the one which was on your old engine and set what happens
