I'm looking for a four branch manifold & system to fit onto my 1.6 Gsi, can anyone sugest what the best manifolds / systems to fit would be, & where I would buy it from. I dont want a back box with a ridiculous tailpipe, just something similar to the standard one.

just stick with the std system

as kinda mentioned ive heard std manifold is good for low down torque.. but if u want ; lexmaul jobby is best. stainless steel (but not t304, its the cheap stuff) erm go.. regal/ courtney for that, or check forums/ebay.
with rest of system; magnex(possibly discontinued now) / ashley / scorpion (also poss discont.) / piper or mongoose all worth a go. the ashley will be cheapest and mild steel, others ?250ish in stainless.

i was thinking of geting a full ashley system with a 4 branch on my GSI, would it be worth getting the 4 branch though?

With regards to the Full Ashley system, have you had a quote on one?

well i baught one for my old 1.4sr and it was ?198 so it should be the same price for the GSI. there loud aswell so there pretty good.
im not too sure on the price of the 4 branch though cause i baught it second hand, i think there about ?90 new, but might be wrong.

when you get the 4branch on though the paint just comes off straight away from the heat so i'd recomend painting it with good paint before putting it on, but the system was fine.

Nice one, I've found a Janspeed 4 branch manifold at Demon Tweeks for ?169.99 & a Piper system at www.needforspeed.co.uk for ?144.16 :)

does your GSi need a lambda sensor hole?
