im going to put a 2.0 16v in a nova merit and im just wondering if i have to up rate the fuel pump or tank cheers

Good move, Firstly- Is the Merit Carb or injection? If your planning on running the injection system off the 2L 16v then you will need a GTE/GSi tank for example.
As for the fuel pump I would try & get the engine & fuel pump together from the car your getting the engine from.

it is a carb i got an astra gte will the pump fit straight in a nova gte tank

Im looking to do the conversion in a few months, But from what I gather, The actual tanks are different on the carb models & injection models. You definately need a Nova injection tank, GTE /GSi, & The fuel pump you can just take off the Astra GTE. The fuel pump isnt in the tank.
