Rear Dampers..

got Spax ajustables on the back of my car .. The bush on the left hand side as gone .. Spax sent some new bushes for free but the aluminium bar what goes through the bush they dont stock and i cant get one from anywhere .. so just ordered a new Damper from demon tweaks just wondering if the bolt what holds the bottom of the damper to the Axle goes straight on .. because when i took it off the nut came of the axle :| so i think i mite need to weld it any one no ?

if you can get into it with a welder you'll need a fair few amps to get a good weld, but if it's managed to break the origional weld the thread's prolly f***ked.
