I believe thats the handbrake and lights up when the handbrake is "On"........

...also means Brake System Fault - if it comes on when the handbrake isn't on, i.e. when you're driving, or if you stomp on the brakes, then check your brakes...

im confused as it comes no at random times, could it detect a cracked disk or some think like that

More likely to be drop in brake fluid level/pressure I think...
