Just baught this from my brother, it's a completley standard example, It's been garaged every night from new. the only exception being the Compomotive 5 spokes. I'm planning a 2.0 16v fit withing the next 18 months, any advice would be appreciated :D

It's a 92K Gsi, with 84k on the clock.

The bonnet & front wings have been painted, due to the crap weather we get over here, a couple of slates decided to fly off a roof and break up over the front of the car :? whilst I had to get some new wings (didnt want to filler the old ones in) I decided to get rid of the repeaters. I'll look into tuneing the standard sv rather than going for the 16v alternative, I thaught maybe a piper or kent cam, with a ported & gas flowed head along with a vernier pulley, or something like that anyways.....lol.

BTW, how do you get your car featured on the site? I woulde'nt mind seeing my car alongside the other Gsi's

to feature your car click on "my novaload" at the top of the screen then go to add feature

what can be said its a propee minter.

would agree with scott make it go like shit of a shovel with the GSI engine

personnally would keep its all standard except get speedlines exhaust and lower it.

unlucky about the tiles mate

Leave it well alone dont do anything but get standard rims its worth more then any tuned up nova standard and clean

Riggy

but as already said its not std  due to some tiles falling of a roof its had a new front end

DR
10-03-05, 10:36 AM
LOL......you make it sound as if it's had the whole front end "re assembled" two new wings hardly constitutes a new front end....., granted it lost it's Originality at the time of repair, but hey, shit happens

well just see how it goes; ive had my gsi pretty much standard for nearly 3 years now - and im gettin bit bored; wanna do some mods to it for a while now.. im not thinkin bout re-sale value though; its how u want the car to be. everything is pretty much returnable to standard anyway.
ide not do a lot - just wheels, manta 400's, maybe splitter that sort of thing.

DR

To be honest, I'm not thinking about re-sale value either. I'll keep it for as long as it's physicaly roadworthy with possibly some engine & suspension mods 8)

Nice and tidy, but you know I had to lower it a bit and spray the wheels black (badly - hey it is late and I am drunk!!)
