The Flux Capacitor has been known to wear out soon after fitting bigger wheels, decreases the efficiency of the car. Halfords etc usually have them in stock for ?10-?20.

i surgest you put 15's on then you might be able to do closer to the speed limit!!. you dont need to do 100 so i dont see the problem

Move the numbers on the speedo round 10 degrees to the left.

whats happened is the car goes further with each rotation of the wheel because your tires are the wrong size so if u take it upto 90mph again with the larger tyres the engine will be rotating slower and thats why the speedo is out

its calibrated for the old wheels

unfortunately nova speedos are very unaccurate over 80mph

the on in my bro's 1.2i shows 100ish at 90mph and 125ish at 105mph

so even a small change of a few mph can make the needly move quite far as they are so unaccurate

My 1200i would do a ton with the 16's and 3 people in it. Must be a real good 1000cc engine.

my 1.0l will do 105 mph with 17's and it beats cars with wayyy bigger engines and its got neons and a Massife spoiler.

and its got neons and a Massife spoiler.

that'll be why then, all that extra weight they give the car will give more grip for all that power

Indeed, I sold my saloon because after driving the GT-Four I could not handle going back to the immense power and superb road holding characteristics of the Nova...
