This picture has come up time and time again.
It is in fact a dolphin. Look at the dorsel fin. It is too curved to be that of a shark. Also the "nose" seems to go down into a irregular snout, suggesting a bottlenose dolphin. It also seems to be a bit too slender to be a shark.
Its not the right shape to be tiger shark. Chances are a bull shark would not be swimming in a wave like that (they prefer calmer shallows and esturies), and it is far to thin to be a great white, so even if it were a shark (which it isn't) chances are that it is a non maneater.
However
1. It is a cool pic - I had it as my desktop for a little while
2. I would crap myself anyway lol.
