Was refurbishing my cav gsi wheels today will be getting sprayed gloss black. :)

i re-attached my VR6 splitter today... And started to put the rest of the black GSi panels inside .

I put a load of stuff for my new engine on my account at the local shop. Bought another alloy to use as a spare. Bout it really.

well after getting mine mot'd yesterday and having the prohibition order taken off today then i shall be off to tax it tomorrow. Also going to book it in the rolling road tomorrow an get it set up as its running rather rough at the moment. After that i have a summer of abusing it on the track. Only other thing i want is a rollcage.

my plans are to fit two new doors a tailgate, push out the damage done to the rear, weld the new front panel and rear wheel arch, repair the sill, fit my cd player finish the wheels, and get the body shop at work to respray it for me, think thats it lol

Getting NDZ Taxed tomorrow, and next weekend i'm driving up country to get some K&N's for the carbs. Then all i need is blue HT leads, strut brace and some new Vauxhall interior mats.

I'll put 500-1000 miles on it over the next few weeks, and get it RR setup by Steven Gault, who built the engine.

Well since I last spoke you Kyle, I have had J7OVA Resprayed. Ive also Taken the top off the airbox & can really hear the carbs!!!
& I have acquired my first car...AGAIN! an F-reg Nova, Still with all the kit I left on it. & GTE interior. But because shes got very rusty in the past year & a half the doors, & rear wings are being eaten from the inside, Still looks ok from the outside. Im thinking....2L! or maybe just chop her up into a trailer Nova.

Apart from trying to find a replacement job for 2 weeks time (when my contract ends), I am saving up to..

- Get new tailgate/doors for the GTE (possible new tailgate already got)
- Get some new carpet for the nova (fire mishap lol)
- Make some interior panels that I planned to do last year lol
- Take the false floor out of the 1.2 and put it in the GTE
- Buy and fit some e/w and c/l mechanisms
- Possible GSi dash (mmm black)
- Finish repairing the GTE
- Put all the parts/panels etc back in (and buy mint GTE interior)
- Get the GTE MOT'd/Tax'd/insured etc
- Respray after some minor mods to the bodywork :wink:

That's about all I can think of atm, if I think of any more, I'll let you know lol

Ah ha, well.. that's a possible atm..

As my *cough* lovely *cough* brother is back working in the bodyshop, he could get hold of the paint for me, and his mate could spray it for me..depends how the work situation goes.

i want to fit my rear discs and GTE brake servo. ive got a GSI spoiler grill and new bonnet in the body shop at the mo. all being repainted and a functional vent custom made into the bonnet above the filter.

id like to get an engine management system for the xe so i can get more from the cams etc when i get them, and also would be good for when i get the tbs i want too.

other than that. just more bling under the bonnet me thinks

Well I stripped out the old dash today ready to wire in ICE, fogs, e/windows, neons(?), boot soleniod and that thing to fix the hazard switch. Gotta rewire the alarm.
Put in GSi dash and dials, colour code plastic bits and re cover door cards.
Make up kickwell and door speaker pods, stealth shelf and boot install.
Tint the windows
Strip down and rebuild engine, tune and service.
Replace door that I booted this w/end.
Remove bumpers and grill and remesh.
Install front fogs
Add recess number plate holder to rear bumper
Replace full exhaust system (manifold back)
Full front brake replacement, paint calipers and drums
Remove dents from bonnet
Delock whole car, flush boot and colour code door handles.
Replace filler cap
Full respay

Before 5th June!!!!!! :cry:

Who wants to bet on whether or not the cars ready for Total Vaux meet @ Santa Pod?
Oh and I'm still on the sick and my ban so cant pay for anything and cant drive it anywhere!!!

Mines almost ready for this years fun! Im just waiting for the polycarbinate windows to arrive (tommrow with any luck) and then I can go and get the suspension set up and tested.

I may do some extra work to the rear arches so that I will get no scrubbing issues and the new fibreglass tailgate and bonnet really need re-spraying again.

However I am working on a Mk1 Escort at the mo which needs to be built and finished for the 4th April. This aint going to be easy!

I Re-attahced my splitter yet again...

just been testing out the speedbumps.. and it decided to stick to one.

Going for the Battery Tray to be welded up tommorow (first bit of welding ever) and then when my shed arrives it's 100% hardcore engine building.

Just fitted fuel tank in wheel well and stack dash and electric power steering.
Gotta go of to body shop to remove fuel filler cap then thats it. Wait for some better weather and track it.

Finish my nova turbo which is slowly coming together hopefully it will be ready for a mapping session in 1/2 months. Start to build up my now monsta engine that bits have started to arrive for :lol: Its going to be a beast kiddies. O and then i have got to clean up my runaround.
