Wondering what you think of my coloured dash, please take a look :

Has anyone ever fitted a panel and put switches on it, like for the fan, spot lights, start button etc, like you see in rally escorts and so on. Where is a good place to do it, i was thinking about removing the heater panel at the middle top of the dash (where the vents are) and making an alloy casing and work from there, Anyone have any pics of something like this? Cheers

Quite like the blue and silver look. I had a switch panel on my hatch, but it was just for neons (blanking plate covering the centre console where the electric window switches would normally sit).

the silver was done using maxicar b009 base coat with a spray gun. As for the spongy bit it was done with foliatec blue spray can, its like a half spray paint half dye, its the only job to use on the spongy parts of the dash because it dose'nt just sit on top like paint but soaks down into the dash like dye and it dose'nt crack when you press hard on it cause its felixable.

not worth taking the dash out to spray it, masking the door etc around it does just as well and much easier. btw its over spray on the ignition barell, gotta get some thinners on that lol :)

cheers guy 4 the comments. I thought that would of been obvious, the interior is the SR blue seats and door cards, thats why the dash is blue.
