Dual Exhausts Systems (epo style)

Right, i'm starting to really crack on with my new engine, after all i now have a new shed to put it all in :-D

I'm thinking about a dual exhaust system, i.e one either side of the bumper. like Epo's old car. (but just a 2.5/3" round straight cutt pipe.

I know somewhere that i can have it made at, and will make the box's.

however, are there any problems to overcome ? i.e the Spare wheel well ? or can this be avoided ? as the company aren't nova experts, and i want to beable to make sure they make it all right.

And also, does 2x Backboxes = 2x noise ? as i've had a load of grief from noisy exhuats so i am going to buy 2 performancy but quiet box's, but i'm thinking that with the carbs, and 2 of these quiet boxs, it's not going to be very quiet at all...

in my case it was, very silly loud in fact. You dont need to get rid of the spare wheel well as mine had a Y piece before it an one went either side with out problems

the custom place near me is full of retards, but they make good systems and box's.. i can tell that if i went there and gave them no advice it'd go horribly wrong.

did you have any silencers in yours ? and would the XE on 45's make it louder ?

the xe on carbs was beyond being loud it was stupid just on tick over, i also had 3 siliencers in the system. Make sure you draw out a nice kiddies style picture to direct them in the right way when making it lol

well my car (epos old one) aint all that loud .. its loudish till u get to 3000 Rpm then it seems to quiet down .. makes the car look cool tho :D im in the middle of making one as i just bought a welder lol

that must be well loud. i'v got an ashley 4-1 manifold and system, i took the bachbox off to paint it so thought lets start it with out it and it was well loud, like stupidly loud.
but i want to take it off and have just a tail pipe (no b'box) but surely i'll get pulled by the old bill.

i have got full a stainless steel powerflow system wit duplex 3.5x4.5" oval box's (twin) the right pipe has been bent round the spare wheel well, and dosn't seem too work as good as the one on the left, (well dosnt smoke as much or sound like it) and rubs on the bumper a bit, nothing a hacksaw cant sort out :) loool
