Intercooler fitted, & update.16/03/05

[TWAG]

Been cracking on with the car over the last couple of weeks. I got the enigne fitted (C20LET) and running, then took it back out. Ive stripped it down, leaving the bottem end in one peice though. Ive got a coscast head which is currently having a skim and new valve guides fitted.

I removed the rear beam and have got the rear disc beam ready to go on. Just waiting on new bushes and rear adjustable shocks.

I fitted the frontera intercooler yesterday, which went very well. fitted a escort rs turbo fan as well.

Yeah its starlet silver.

I painted the inlet manifold myself, i cleaned it with a wire brush then paited it with some aluminuim silver paint. used the same stuff on my calipers.

Scott - thats the joy of having a workshop, dont have to worry about the weather :D

Just brought some rear koni adjustables. Thought this would be a good idea as when ive got the trailer on the back i dont want it botteming out :lol:

The head is now finished and i can get it back on the block tomorrow!!!

My bushes and brake lines turned up today, so i have begun fitting them. Just waiting on my koni adjustables to arrive.

Also go some custom 70mm springs, for the rear so it should sit quite nice.

I have most of the parts now to get on with it, so hopefully in the next to weeks the engine will be up and running.
