Come on then guys n gals, lets have the benefit of your wisdom.
I've seen all the ways you can do it but wanted to know from those who had done it themselves which way to go.

Unless of course some1 wants to come down to brighton and do it for me?
:D

A welded metal plate, the best way by far.

there are two ways really.

theres a plate you can get from supernovas or you can weld a plate on.

from posts on here.
if you weld, make sure it is a very close to the flushed bit.
that way less filler, less chance of it cracking.

the supernova panel is ok too, but not the same as you can imagine.

That means finding a decent one in white for a "proper" price, near where I live (cos I'm on a ban and theres only so far my g/friend will drive!)

Now personally, I reckon it'll be quicker to do it myself. :)

Although I am getting more and more tempted to stick it in the bodyshop!

Id just buy a Flushing panel from supernovas but if u are minted unlike me get a body shop to do it.

iff i was to flush the boot on my car i would probably weld a metal plate over the recess, i've been told the the panel from supernovas can be a bit weak over the recess

surely if you were to buy one second hand it wouldnt matter if it were white or not as you'd have to get yours sprayed anyway

That wouldn't have been a problem! Got a mate whos really good @ matching and blending paint work.
However, I lost my rag with the car at the w/end and booted one of the rear doors and now need to get a new one so it looks like I'll be saving up for a full respryay anyway!
