1.6 conversion

i have a 1.6 Gsi that was destioyr y a truck

and thre ront was the only thing that was saved, i do not know how.
e need to know what i need from that car to brign to my 1.3 sr nova.
the engine i already know.
and i thimking on carbs

right, you want to stick a 1.6 in a 1.3SR on carbs ?

you'd need the carbs,inlet,Alternator bracket, Fuel Pressure Regulator, and you can use the standard mech fuel pump.

To run the ignition and dizzy in the car you may need a kent cam, and then you can use the fuel lobe on the cam to run a mech fuel pump.

why a kent cam?? i'm loking for one later why now??

Well to keep my 1.2 ignition in my car i'm buying a kent cam as they have the distributor drive types machined into the end of the cam, this means you can run the 1.2 distributor and ignition

if you keep the 1.6 cam, you'd have to convert the ignition/coil over to the 1.6 stuff = more work.

so to make it simpler, buying a kent cam would mean you could keep your 1.3SR distributor and coil e.t.c

I think that's right, someone will beable to clarify/dismiss this idea

u can easily switch to 1.4sr ignition if need be
