Benji's Wheels..

Well in another post benji asked for a shop of his wheels and also to take the bump stips of,so i have a fiddle and this what came out,im no expert at this so there only ok.

Before

black wheels, lose the rubbing strips, and get some a red stripe on the bumper. could be a bit lower aswell. and some stubby mirrors, lol the list get's longer...

thats ace, proper sat on its arse. In terms of the poll, defo lose the bump strips, but as for the wheels, the whites just pinch it in my opinion, altho the anthracites looks equally tasty.

get your wheels black and id deffo get tht front bumper. i like the red novas its looks good with them wheels looks very tidy

Dark rims and lose the strips yes, but don't do anything with the bumper, looks excellent as it is with retro chic. I'm quite choosy with what I like on Nova's and I like the simplicity of it.

I was gonna suggest you get rid of the rubbing strips when i saw u at donington, but i kept my mouth shut cos its ur car and u can do what u like. Main reason being think of the weight u'll save by getting shot of them!! as for the wheels its gotta be black better for radiating heat away from the brakes plus after a hard day on track they don't look mingin :lol:

It does look better with the sidestrips off, but looks a little plain. Do what you think looks best mate, although the dark wheels look awesome IMO

olly, i did think about how much they would weigh. they are solid chunks of plastic, and every little helps.

the next question is should i go black or anthracite

Ive just bought gloss black wheels chap, they look awesome in the flesh...

and paint the bumpers the same color

try n find one of those early sr fronts too

Thats a mk1 SR front bumper :wink:

its an EARLY mk1 sr bumper
they changed it around E plate to one in the same style as the GTE
