Wont start

Right, having finished fitting my Nova GTE engine into my SR, I cant get it to start.
It started when I sprayed some easy start into the induction area, but when I go to do it normally, the engine just turns over.
I have checked the plugs and am getting a spark.
The fuel is getting up to the engine, but I aint entirely sure which one is feed to engine or return from engine......
Anyway, any ideas guys?

if the engines turnin over at normal speed and theres no poppin or fartin like its gonna start, then change over the fuel pipes and see wat happens then u might just have them the rong way around.
if not is the fuel pump on?

The fuel pump is defo on. I'll try changing them over tomorrow and see if that makes any difference. There was no weird pops or bangs etc.

if u look at the steel pipes

one goes directly to the rail and one goes into the base of the pressure regulator

the one going direct to rail is feed
the one going to pressure reg is return

If those hoses are on the correct way which I think they could be, what else could be wrong. I have not put the exhaust on yet, but surely it should have started.
