wide arch kits / rear arches

Hi folks - not sure whether this should be in here or technical but hey here goes, Im considering buying the rally x wide arch kit, and was just wondering what you do to the original rear arches underneath etc. i know theres a few people on here who have the kit fitted so any help / pics would be graetly appreciated.

dnt quote me but i believe u have to cut the original arches off then bond the wide arches on and then seal the inner arches up.

never seen this kit but the way I sawit done best was a guy on here a couple of years ago. www.corsa.webb.se

There are pics from the site - he welded in plates and extended the original arches. Looked excellent. if the kit youre getting is fibreglass, Id remove the old arches - or cut away the old arch and build a fibreglass reinforced arch bonding it to the original shell - then like the post above make sure its sealed properly inside and underneath. prefer the method below myself - makes more sense...if a little more "professional"
