Dealer Prices!!!!!!!!

I had to have a new fuel tank fitted to my 1.2 Nova Swing because it had developed a hole and a lot of rust S**t the tank cost me ?94 and ?66 the have it fitted with new clips and pipes. I couldn't believe it when I found out it would of cost me ?164 for the tank alone from Vauxhall. But now on the filler pipe the second pipe that come's off it has snapped away, again because of the rust and I cant get one unless I either. Get it from a scrappy but it needs to fit just right and may be just as bad as mine inside my second option is from the Vaux dealer but it's going to cost ?94 I cant believe how much they can charge it's delight robbery how can a thing like that cost the same price as the brand new tank i bought the b****ds. Anyway cheers for reading :D

surely when they fitted the tank they advised you of the other hose? If not I'd go back and say you were under the impression they were to do all hoses linked to tank. I did that with my brake lines after they charged me shed loads for the backs but left the fronts - went back and they did em for free as invoice said "full brake line check and replace" :D

My tank developed a leak on my TD 1 hour after I bought the bloody thing. Luckily my old man works for Vauxhall so got a new one fitted for ?45. :D :D :D
