Here you are guys, not doing anything special just getting it tidy really

BAT Front bumper
Novadose rear smoothed out
Smoothed in Novadose skirts
Smooth boot
Smooth out handles/locks
Gsi Spolier
-60mm
17s
M3 mirrors

This is all to start, haven't decided what to do with interior yet, whether buckets or leather, then come the summer i'll either bung a LET, a XE or a C16XE depending on what comes up closest to home (i'm lazy and not fussy lol!)

Standard

NONE of the smoothing is finished yet, just an example of how far it is along

Oh also it's getting sprayed a candy green with yellow pearl

Should be ready for spraying in a few months

have to say looks like youve done a nice job of smoothing the skirts in. if your on a bit of a budget then the let might not be in reach as the are quite a bit more then the xe and 1.6 16v to get hold of

I'm not really fussed on price, i did see a let local to me for ?450, granted the crank was fucked, but i don't have any problems getting my hands dirty and rebuilding, i've fitted a C16XE myself before (with the help of brian from www.valvers.com) though i think he took the guide down :(

I'll do the engine conversion myself :D

Just a quick question,is it greay paint or proper vinyl on the bottom of the doors? as if it's vinyl should you have not striped it back first?

Lokking quite good as well, futuer plans sound good..Do the c16xe mate, better handling..

It's only paint at the bottom, thought it was vinyl until we tried to remove it, unfortunatley it's vinyl around the windows, so we're getting to work with a heat gun to get that off soon.

Hi phil long time no speak how goes the Nova these days :D

yes it's all going to be DIY, even the spraying.

A mate has just moved into a lovely new house with a garage equiped with a Compressor, it also has a extractor fan and theres more than enough room to spray a car in there another friend also used to be a sprayer for a couple of years, why i know its not going to be perefect including the cost of paint an throwing each person a couple of quid it should only be costing me under ?250 to have it sprayed!

I'll do the engine conversion myself again, I've just wired up the alarm successfully so a company won't have actually touched the car by the times it's finished which is quite an achievement i think 8)
