How can I get cheap extra BHP out of my D-reg, 1.2 Nova? I don't have much money, so I'm talking under ?50.

To be honest mate, to get 5 bhp out of a 1.2 nova will take you more than ?50, I'd leave your 1.2 nova standard, and not spend any money on it, and save up 4 an Sr or GSI or GTE or summit. If you leave your 1.2 standard, you'll be able to sell it easier, cos unles you modify a car properly, with the right bits and pieces, people looking at your car will think it's all been bodged and tampered with...get saving mate!!!!

get yourself to the scrappy and buy a sr carb and inlet manifold and plonk it on.

easy peasy lemon squezzy and should be good for about 10hp with a k&n filter
