misfire 2.0l 16v

Hi i just bought an astra gte to rip the engine out and put in a nova i went to look at it started it up and it run fine no misfine but when u put the engine under load it has a terrable misfire as anyone else had this problem it also is alrite crusing at 80 - 90 put as soon as u put the pedel slightly down it misfires and seems not to have any power could this be the ignition module or the coil coz it only does it under load cheers

Try new spark plugs m8, i just had the same problem.
Any sort of hard accelerating and it was like it was holding back and suttering.

New plugs seem to have cured the problem.

When I bought my astra 16v it hadnt been run for ages, anyway after taking ages to get it started it was missing like mad!

So just took it for a bit of a drive and the missing went completely.

It did it again last month as I hadnt driven the car for 2 months due to breakin my leg. Again went for a drive and it went

If that dont work, then plugs leads dizzy etc

cheers it must be the plugs and leads coz i drove it back for 60 miles and it still the same i will try that and see wot happens
