To be sold complete... here is a totally mint C20XE RED-TOP Engine from an Astra GTE, in perfect working order, with all ancillaries.
C20 XE
Non-Porous head, just had ?180 spent on the head to guarantee this!
Skimmed head
Valves Reseated
Cleaned Tappets
Complete New Gaskets all round, head gasket, cam seals, crank seal, rocker cover seal, inlet etc etc
New sensors, cts, and lamba.
Red PowerCap (replaced the SFi box for increased bhp)
K 'n' N Air Filter
Loom & all ancillaries, inc Manifold 4-2-1 decatted
F18 gearbox (F20 is also included, but needs slight attention)
Approx 62k miles on the engine, with oil changed every 3k miles
Approx 165-170bhp
When the head was off, there were no visible marks on the internals of the engine, cams, etc etc. Checked over by the engine specialists when doing work on the head.
I have driven the car last week (coming out of a Vectra, where the engine has been in for approx 6 months) and I can tell you it absolutely flies!!!
Equally as important, it is so quiet! By that I mean it roars like a beast when it is supposed to, but you can't really hear the tappets ...which is a very good thing.
The engine is mint, and very well looked after.
Only being sold as the new owner (my bro-in-law) has sourced himself a C20LET...
?500 no offers, and well worth the money for a hassle free, engine.... did I say it was M-I-N-T !!
