Are they legal? I'm sure turbo timers aren't legal any more as they mean the car can be left unattended with the engine running or something, so thought the same might be true for remote start...

Humm but they are part of the cliford alarms so surely they must be passed to be used on them?? im not sure,lol if the cars still locked how can you take it?

yeah but you can set your alarm and lock your car with the turbo time on, so they must be ok

fitting the remote start to a class 1 alarm voids the approval certificate, as the immobilisers arent armed if the engines running.
