I have just got a new Nokia 6230 on contract.. and am wanting to put some pictures/vids/music and ringtones onto it from my PC

it appears i have a choice of connection methods...

a USB, Bluetooth and Infa Red

Which is the best to use, the easiest/quickest, and the cheapest to buy..

i'm thinking USB myself,

Thanks Nick

the bluetooth dongle thingy is just like a usb dongle lol

(oh my technical vocabulary knows no boundaries  )

it uses the usb port on your pc, and can detect nearby devices using bluetooth (eg. any other phones close by, or some printers now)

it's better to use than others as bluetooth doesnt require cables so it's much more convenient

you can pick up a bluetooth dongle for about ?15 at phone shops etc

oh, and usually they're about 40mm long, 10mm wide and 5mm deep

(rough estimates as I'm a girl and I don't have mine here to measure)

My 7610 came with a cd disk to download the drivers from the website, and a USB cable to transfer data, you can also use it to make backups of your phone memory, and do synconisation updates, whitch is very handy as if you loose or need ot get another phone(like i just did) you plug in and re sync it,no lost contacts or files, etc :P

oh whilst on the subject of phones...

my phone has a little (compact flash, or somethnig, like the digi camera's use, but it's the smaller of the two) 32mb compact memory card with nokia written on it. I'd like a much bigger one and so i can use my phone as an MP3 player...

do i have to buy them from Nokia ? or can i just go to dixons e.t.c and buy a universal flash card ? say 128mb

lol if its little then its not a CF card, they're like bricks compared to most other cards
