I have just fitted a Nova GTE engine into my SR, and went to start it for the first time. As I put it into first and let the clutch fully out, nothing happened at all. Is the clutch goosed? To be honest, I never checked to see if it was there. Can I put the clutch from my SR F10 box into the F13 box?

Here we go another stupid question from me:

I have a 1.4 Box on my car, Running over 100bhp, So the GSi clutch is built for 100bhp, Can I have this put on my car when my one gives up the ghost...That will be about 10 mins then! lol. Im assuming its more durable.

Anyone got any other suggestions what I could/Should get?

snowface, when you say have you set up your gear linkage what do you mean by this? I am getting all the gears, but when I put it in gear it is just like neutral......

a good condition standard clutch could live with 150bhp.... only just though

so for 100bhp then it should be just fine.

Sounds stupid, but are the driveshafts in properly? Had the same problem with the same conversion, took us ages to figure the cv on the passenger side was goosed, was just spinning that (as its easier for it to do)

Liam GTE, when I put it into first gear, I can still push the car about as if it was in neutral. Same problem as you?

you'll be able to tell if its that as it will make a nasty grinding noise, well mine did anyway when it happened to me.

Phil,
I am getting nothing mate. I can put it into gear or what I think is in gear and absolutely nothing mate. I can push the car backwards and forwards no bother.
