What size tyres are you using, and whats the offset of the wheels?

im using 205/40/zr17 and the offset is definatly the rite offset they come off a vauxhall corsa so they are the same rite

Hmm... mate of mine had problems with 205/40/16 being a bit wide, so I'm guessing on 17s this width could cause even more problems. If you're thinking the rear bushes are flexing you could try replacing with some poly bushes?

There's a place usually advertised in TV (may be called deflex or something like that)that do rear beam poly bushes for about ?8, I know a couple of people with them and they seem happy with them

Just becasue the wheels came off a corsa don't mean they are the right offset, would be worth checking that out

yes check the offset of your wheels.you can fit a 17s on a corsa with an offset as low as 40mm without any problems[that i know off] but when your putting 17s on a nova there will stick out far to much.

personally i wouldnt think about putting 17s in a nova, they dont look right for a start. 16s are better suited imo

Yep, Have to agree, 15's are nice & subtle, But if you want big rims, Then 16's should really be the limit, Causes all kinds of problems going any bigger. Plus some 17's look huge on Nova's.

i agree aswell.always had 15s with a 60mm drop and i find this best for handling and performance but if you want bigger then the only 16s i would put on a nova is softstars or speedlines so they fit in with no arch problems.

You must be reading my mind! I will be buying either speedlines or softstars for mine when I got some cash!
