ive recently aquired some 20 16v omega brakes! 295mm i think! can any1 tell how 2fit them 2 my sri nova!
will some1 plz help me!
hmm i aint sure they would fit as i thought they was too big to fit on the nova but could be wrong would be good tho if you get em on
omega brake discs are 5 stud, where as novas are 4 stud.
so tahts the discs out of the window unless you get them redrilled.
the calipers will just bolt on where the existing ones go.
simple really

ive had the disks redrilled, thinking of using the hub of the omega as some sort of spacer so the disks sit flush! cos they catch on the arm where the steering rack bolts 2! plus the hole on the middle of the omega disk is bigger then standard nova disks! so this should centre the omega disk!
do u think this would work

well if their 2lt brakes then cant you just use cav discs or astra ones instead of re-drilling?

offset etc is totally different due to the omega being rwd
i doubt they will be easy to fit
better trying to find 288mm vectra v6 brakes and fitting them instead as they will go streight on once uve got the disks drilled

according to epc omegas use girling front calipers where as vectras cavs and astras use ATE front calipers
im guessing they are not interchangeable
im guessing they are not interchangeable
gotta be worth a tenner to find out tho surely, the calipers do look fooking huge though
the offset of the disks are wrong, so the astra/cav discs wont fit as they would be scraping on the caliper
ahhhh yes just realised that when i changed my discs they had hell of an offset from the hub face.
yes the calipers are girling, but i believe they bolt on in the same place.
the V6 has "big" discs and the 2litre has smaller discs but they are still lager than most other VX brakes.
