On ebay theres a 4-1 manifold for a Nova. The guy says he bought it for his 1400 SR and it doesnt fit. He then says that the guy he bought it off now tells him it only fits a 1300 SR.

Is there a difference? I have a 1400 SR and want a 4 branch but which do it get? 4-1 or 4-2-1 and who make the best?

cheers

yea 1300 and 1400 are different i think .. As i was going to buy one but the bloke said its for a 1300 not a 1400 try www.tuning.co.uk they have manifolds and stuff 4 to 1 i would say is better but could be wrong

it will fit the engine fine

it might not match up with the rest of the exhaust but even then i was sure 1.3 and 1.4 had same system

All Nova exhaust ports are the same. I have a full GSi system. The only thing is as aragorn said the manifolds are slightly different at the bottom, I.e some bend to one side, Might not be long enough to match upto a 1.2 full system etc. But I had an extra piece welded for mine.

the 1.3 and 1.4 manifolds are virtually the same and will match up to the middle box fine.

The only thing you do need is the 1.4sr bolts that have the springs on.

They are 1 inch longer than the 1.3sr ones. I got mine from Vaux for a couple quid.
