While ive not had time to work on the car for a while ive still been picking up a few bargains along the way. Really need to make a push with things now as time is getting on. Altho the week i decide to try and get things moving the weather turns nasty!! Ah well! But at some point soon me and the Homo's at Rifle range will hopefully finish a few bits of.

Anyhow here are some of the purchases ive made.
Up first one nice VX220 dash! To replace the dash i havnt got!! lol

Then secondly id been debating throttleboddies for a long time and weight up the odds. But money per power i thought sod it. So i decided to go for another route . This should make things intresting. Not for track. But deffo for the 1/4 miling.

Not to everyones taste. But i dont care anymore tbh. I wanted the experience so i went and bought a kit! Who cares if it runs out. i still got 200bhp without it!! lol!! But its purely for the fun factor! Which is why im building the car. So piss of all the moaners. Its the true Source of power im afriad for 1/4 miling.

Besides this ive also invested in alot of other bits for under the bonnet and inside the car. Should make a change.
Debating a few changes to the engine interals altho this is just a thought for now.

Anyhow just thought id let people see how things are coming along. Its not dead yet. And should be back road worthy ' maybe not finished very soon! :)

Have fun!!

Nice clocks mate!! must have been a nightmare finding them!
Lee Hearsey's the man with a set fitted (I'm sure you know him anyway Chris) I'm sure he'll send you a wiring diagram - top bloke.

Looking good all round mate, its gonna fly!

Cheers martin!! Hows yours coming along mate? Long time no see!

Yes i think he goes by the name of region17 on migweb. He is sending me out all the details i need to get the dash working.
Only bit of messing about is with the speedo . But im sure i know a man who car sort things out!

Mainly i want the car on track once done. But pod will be a sideline. Hence the nitrous. But with cut slicks im sure theres gonna be a serious time in there. Have to wait and see i suppose.!!!

Hi mate - the car is coming along slowly but surely! Its in a million bits at the moment though. Just in the process of welding up the front end and stripping bloody underseal  - which is an arse of a job!!
The engine & box has been trial fitted so its a case of finish all the prep & get it painted - thing is I want it to be mint, so that could take some time

Yours is looking great though, look forward to having a nose.

Mart
