Hi guys,

Looking for advice.

I need to set up a secure area on a website that when clicked on asks for a user name and password. Its not a forum, just an area where certain people (doctors of all people) can view research and submit comments on a form.

Does anyone know the best way of doing this?

I'll need some kind of database I guess to store the usernames and passwords. Can this be stored on your standard hosts server (I use oneandone.co.uk)

I'm using frontpage 2003 at the mo.

I figure its gonna be something like php script and I'm guessing the basics will surround something like the novaload forum. However I dont want it so anyone can see it - it needs to be secure.

Is this possible in HTML?

Anyone recommend anything - or any free code???

PHP and mySQL.

I host my sites with One & One, very happy with their service too.
