TV mag - opel ascona

Don't know whether anyone has the current ( i think) Tv mag with the opel ascona in it ?

if so, does anyone have any info on the Asconas, because i really really like them, and am wondering how much they go for ? where abouts would you go about getting hold of one ?

i will agree with you there, they are a very nice car. The one in TV is beautiful but needs an engine to go with it :D

that is rather quick, reminds me of the 2lt 16v turbo viva. I love that car also even though it has the roughest body work ever, but then again its not about that when you touching on 10sec 1/4mile

i went through a stage of wanting a viva, i was going get one as run around but never got round to getting one. But i have decided which car is my next car in a few years time, and im not changing my mind this time.

i can get hold of a mk1 cavalier, which was really the replacement for the ascona in the uk, looks just like a manta :D

Peester, your top pic is from a local show here, bloke lives bout 30 miles from me! Amazing car.

Another local ascona being build is this one, its from around the belfast area! Looks like its going to be stunning!

The two Ascona's look the same, but two different cars.

The one in retro car's ran throttle bodies, this one, carbs. Looking forward to getting a run in it :D

A few years ago the elderly neighbours had one of these from new, was a 2 door but saloon not coupe. I think your best bet for fidning one is probably leave notes under windscreen wipers asking for a sale if you find any parked up(!)
