removing dials on a mk1 dash

Am planning to remove the dials on my nova soon to replace some bulbs so just wondering how this is done.

hmm if a mkI is like a mk II its rather easy ... but not sure if they are ... mk II remove bolts with alan key ... Remove 3 screws from under them ... stcik hand behing the dials un click the speedo pull it out whall done

they are fairly simple to do, but i think mk2's are easier as you dont lose as much skin off your hands doing it.
You basically need to push the top back an pop the bottom out, then get you hand in an disconnect the speedo an plug an it should come out. Things are never that simple though

my mk II was so easy i was actually shocked how easy it came out fitted mikes in like 2 mins

Mk1 dashs can be a pain in the arse. easier if u remove the steering surround.
