i have had square plates on my nova for a while now and i really liked them
but ive just finished stripping the nova and thought no one will want the plates with epo on them
so i put the origional ones back on and the difference its made it looks so much better with standard plates on

just thought id share that with you :lol:

yeah took me 20 odd hours to install it all removed in 2 :lol:

Good decision mate, i must admit i think those square plates look really stupid, especially on a rectangular recess an' all.

i must have been the only person where it took the same time 2 put in and to take out an hour lol but then again was 3 of use putting it in n jst me taken it out lol

a freind of mine has a 1.3SR mk1.

with the GTE style bumpers, the square plate, offset to the right , only on the front.,

I think it looks really smart.

but that's because theres no orignial recess in the bumper

yeah there was a gte at santa pod a couple of years back he had offset front square and thats what made me think i want that

offset square plates do look smart i was thinking of putting GTE bumpers on my car for that one reason lol

I had a square plate on the front bumper offset to the drivers side on my old nova. Looked great i thought. It's having a recess that's a different shape to the plate that looks dodgy imo

Well its not gone yet - its being broken for parts because it failed the MOT on so many things...
