I freezin my .... off, my heater r set on hot an i get a very cool...na freezin temp come throu! ne 1 no why this is? Thanks

yep, they are operated by a cable, it could have come dislodged or snapped.... but i doubt it has snapped.

get the haynes manual out, as they describe exactly how the heaters operate

the little clips that hold the cable to the side of the matrix are complete bastards to use. they break as soon as you look at them. i managed to bodge mine back together with a bit of metal bracketing, self tapping screws and superglue :D

Maybe a airlock in the coolant system.

I reckon its your cable to, i the same problem and fixed it with a cable tie,bitch to get at though,have fun! :lol:

all the cables r connected, every think works: 1-2-3 fan setting, just the temp dials gone...but its connected.
Ihave no leaks or a wet floor, i dont know were the thermosat is ether! lol im mythed

could be your thermostat, could be stuck open causing your engine to run cool!

its the one where the top radiator hose fits to (behind the timing belt covers!) :D

see the pipe down the bottom on the left going between the black casing and te head? thats the thermostat behind there!

ok i can see it, can it be took apart, or do n e think to unblock it?

you'll have to take it off and take out the thermostat from its housing and fit a new one, the bit you see in the pic fitted to the pipe is the stat housing, the stat is fitted inside and should just pull out! might cost about ?12 for a new one.

yeah it should just push back in, i think the hardest part will be getting to the housing as its behind the timing belt, pulley and casings!

oh yes! it'll be struggling to pick up the fuel hence the noise! get some chucked in and see what its like!
