I know this will have been asked hundred of times
Lookin at my bumper on me standard 1.2. Just wanted to know whats the difference between GSI and a standard bumper. i know they are colour coded but are they bigger than the standard?

yes the gsi bumper is about 2 inches deeper.it also has a bigger vent half way down that looks good if u cut it and mesh it

as you can see - from the number plate down theres a definate difference. The Gsi has the extra vent, flares out and is about 2" deeper
There is a big difference, cant wait to get some money and get a GSI kit

try a scrapy for the bumper first. they are rare to find but could save you alot of money!
theres no scrappie round near us that have gsi's in i should know i went round them today

i didn't really notice a massive change in depth, but they step out at the bottom, which is nice.

its only about 10-15mm iirc

Thinking about putting fog lights into the bumper when i do it but wasnt to sure if it looked any good. anyone got some pictures of a gsi front bumper with fog lights in?
