got the rotten door sorted

And last weekend did this

Still to do are both sills, rear panel, upper front panel and get it prepped for paint, then 16v ate front brakes, a tweek of the carb, mot, get it painted!

That really is rotten!
If its like that there, i dread to think what the strut tops and rear spring cups are like!!

Is it worth it??

Not being nasty or anything but I have scrapped better than that shell. But fair play if you manage to get it all done

the floors in excellent condition, and the strut tops are ok but theyre gonna get extra plating anyway. the door was so bad because one of the previous owners didnt replace the rubber at the bottom of the glass, so water was just running straight in! And the arch and rear panel had never had the road salt cleaned off, you should have seen the dirt stuck to the inside of the rear bumper!, and a full bucket of muck from inside the rear arches alone! I've scrapped better before aswell, but i've got the astra to run around in for another few months and don't like being bored on a weekend.
