Ladies and Gents,

Doesnt really look like there has been much progress with 'the beast' since the weekend as I have been struggling removing the sound deadening from the roof. What a fooker of a job.

that paint in the engine bay looks awesome, if it has that level of shine and colour on the rest of the car, it's going to be really nice!!

how did you get the sound deadening off the roof? its horrible stuff, mine is still stuck.

well first I used thinners, then just tried a hot air gun, then just elbow grease.

Using thinners is expensive and takes ages. Using the hot ait gun leaves tacky glue all over, and bare elbow grease takes it off slowly but takes the glue off too
