Ok, as some might know, I'm repairing my nova with new sills/arches etc.

The car is just ready for the arches to be put on, only trouble is.. I was just wondering how the best way of going about it is..

Whatever happens, there's gunna be a "lip" on the arch..or is there another way of welding the arch in without having to use lots of filler to smooth out that lip?

Me and my dad have an idea on what to do, but just need some extra ideas on whether we're on the right track, lol.

Any help appreciated. :)

thing is though mel you are planning on welding the new arch over the old aint you instead of cutting the old one out, best why to do it in that case is make the weld along the flared bit if you seen what i mean then when you clean it up and filler it it shouldnt be as obvious. ill put the new arches on if you get really stuck
