View Full Version : Pictures of my GearBox Part and Gear Lever - HELP!

Here you can see the part installed on my car - it's not very hard to notice whats wrong - the ocolone thingie is not in place and the 2 parts are held by a piece of string (!!!!!) something i did not know of....

here is a picture of the new (used) part i got . how it's supposed to look :

Here are pictures of my gear lever - i think it's a 4 gear model u can see that half of it has been sawed of where the little thingie there sits ( wow, what proffesional language) now i need to know if this lever is the same as the 4 gear one or not and if the lever box is the same on the 4 gear model and the 5.

plesse help :D

your lever will be fine for 5 speed as someone has already modified it

so if i cut off that other wing on the right side of the gear stick then it's ok?

the other wing is for the reverse lockout

ive had 3 different 5 speed boxes running on a std unmodified 4 speed linkage and got all gears fine

ive had that bush do the same thing on mine but it just pulled back together
