rev counter on a mk2 1.2

were is the cable for the rev counter on a 1.2 nova

the engine is a carb version not injection

should already be in the loom

if it's in the loom behind the dash/clocks, it'l be a solid Green Wire.

It may not have one, mine didn't, but some have ? don't ask why.

If not, you'l have to run a wire from the bottom right terminal on the coil (should be unused) to the corresponding terminal on the clocks.

I presume the Rev counter needs a wire rather than a cable ? as i've only done this for a digidash. I don't know where on earth you'd run a cable to if you need to do that, sorry !
Maybe it's worth getting a digidash ?

i just used some speaker wire. works fine (until i cut through it while trying to seperate the two apart)

luckily i could use the other wire lol.

yep it doesn't need to be specially thick wire.

mines speaker wire as well i think :-) i don't think it carries much load

There should be a space in the plug behind the dash,strip a bit wire and put it in the space, then feed ihe rest of the wire through to the coil.
