RJ automotive did it to their blue nova www.rjautomotive.co.uk - then select gallery and choose nova

Its a pain in the arse and theres 2 probs as I see it.

1 - you have to open the car door to fill the car up - this if youre like me means you'll prob spill petrol over your interior!

2 - if its cold your passengers will get freezing a swear at you

3 - the interuior will wreak of fuel!

It can be done - but will need (as I see it) the following

Good knowledge of bodywork (you'll need to weld a plate over the existing hole and fill it as well as weld through the door support below/above the lock and this is reinforced)
Reroute your filler intake up the side of the car, through the rear inner arch and into the rear 1/4 panel
Fasten it so it doesnt move about
make a custom cap
get the side resprayed.

Give it to RJ automotive - be easier and probably cheaper!

its not the hardest job to do. but if done wrong can give a whole host of problems!!! if you can weld then your proberly ok...to a point!

the fuel pipe/hose needs to be longer and always on a decline otherwise you will get f**ked over when you refuel!!!

the interior shouldnt smell of petrol if youve done a good job!!! but it is hard not to spill petrol!!!

you will need a smaller fuel cap, but not by much!!! or you could extend the pillar, but thats extra work!!!

there are other places you can relocate a fuel cap, but just remember that the fule line will always need to be on a downward slope and that you cant go too near to hot stuff,eg exhaust or ANYTHING HOT!!!!

you can get flush fit fuel caps. i think pvd do them! cost bout ?100 have a look!
