The Gear Stick on my Corsa 1.3 SR 1985 is ruined.please hlp

hey.

I own a Corsa 1.3 SR 1985 and today i couldn't shift to 5th gear no more.
this has happend a few times before and usualy it was some fine tuning with the stick that fixed it at the mechanics.

Anyway, this time when they took it a part the stick aolmost broke apart...
it's made out of plastic (!!!!) and the bottom end of it gets chipped away with time... and mine was in very bad shape, they tried to fix it and only made it worse... currently i can drive and can shift up to 4th gear... but i need a new stick... it's made of plastic and the upper part is metal.

Does anyone know the model? the exact name of this part? a picture? or if this really is the problem?
Please help, anything would help me.
