how did you get the "i have a compression ratio of 12:1" please dont tell me that you just divided the compression tester figure by the atmospheric pressure as it simply dosent work like that lol.

Just had a look at my compression tester and I think you mean 12 BAR. If that's so, 11-12 bar is fine. Go for a 1.6 on T40's anyway! and don't bother with that 1.3 head/1.6 block thing. Done it, fucks the battery and strains the starter motor.

hmm bar would make sens and the fact one is 11 bar means its 45 psi down.

now it makes sense


mr paine. when quoting numbers its best to put units after EG 12 bar, 100mm etc

12 bar on three, 11 bar on 1, 45psi down??? 1 bar is 1 atmosphere, or near as dammit 15psi.
