I know I need some form of adapter plate, any idea how much a new one would be?

yeah you need an adapter. demon tweeks might sell them.

I have now e-mailed weber and on-line autosport to see if they can do me a fittings package

webcon have them on stock at 27.52+vat for the plate and 4.77+vat for the throttle cable mount!!!!!!!

this is what i've recieved from webcon;
The adaptor plate is 9990089600 price 27.22+vat
The throttle cable mount is 9990093400 price ?4.77+vat.
9990092600x2 @?0.49
9990089300X1 @?4.95
9990028600X3 @?1.24
9990089400X1 @?1.76
9990051300X1 @?5.40
These are all the studs and gaskets you require in addition to the adaptor and throttle cable mount.
All prices are +vat

that works out at ?57.34+delivery!!!!!!!!!!
