Well, sold my Nova last friday...the 1.3 blue minter (40,000 miles from new).

sad to see her go but there we are we must move on some time.

seems really weird seeing someone else driving away in your car, lol!

had a massive spec to go on her aswell now all the parts have got to go.

dan mk_1 - yeah, looking at a new shape corsa for the time being (one has come up very very cheap), just a 1.2 or something and use that until my insurance is up in 6months then get something fast like a 1800 16v clio as it happens, lol, already have one waiting for me but just cant get insured at the moment :( ...think I might go for that anyway, not 100% though

benji - to be honest was just taking forever to come together, kept buying more and more stuff with my money just for them to be stuck in the corner because I wanted it done altogether. Couldnt just take the car off the road for months because I didnt have another one to drive.
not only that, just little things were pissing me off, just little bits and bobs wrong with the car and no money to correct them.
also, and probably the main one lost my job so aint got anyway of funding the project.
had an excellent offer on my car aswel so all them combined just did it for me and it was sold on friday

what's the deal with the headyour selling? is it a 1300, 1400 or 1600? what shape are the inlet ports.

lol, don't even know why i'm asking, i told myself i wasn't spending any more on the 1400 engine :D

dan_mk1 - I was really impressed to be honest when I took it for a quick blip round the block....(gotta be done, lol)...Seemed a million times faster than my 1300. Yeah, in wales mate...tis abit far to come take me out for a spin, lol! Thanks for the offer though.

benji - mate...BigRuss will tell you what the head is like...it is awesome. Its a Nelson Group A works spec head. When we were up the unit last we compared it to another 'ported' 1300 head that Russ had lying about and the difference was amazing, the nelson one is in a different league. It is mega, mega ported, big valves, slimmed down valve stems etc etc...its a bit of kit.
