how much is it off ebay then?

have you tried asking some companies if they will offer a discount since your buying so much of it?

go to a fabric warehouse, upholsterers e.t.c trade places

go in and ask what similar items they have, they will provide you with some stuff for cheap....

just because it's called "ice carpet" doesn't mean it's anything special.

it is "ice carpit" suposedly doesnt inhibit (is that the right word?) the air flow when stretched over a speaker.

but you don't need to inhibit the airflow when using it for carpet and doorcards.

And usually, unless your making a stealth shelf, you wouldn't be covering any speakers with it anyway

or unless your getting really picky, you could say that allowing the sound to travel through the fabric will minimise the inslution affect in the car. increasing it's acoustic performance.

but i doubt you'd really notice that one lol
