has anyone got any info about alternative fuels for diesel engines?

have heard a mixture of heating oil and engine oil works also used chip fat oil but don't want to try it incase the engine fooks up!

any gen apreciated!

old cooking oil does work but you have to add i think 1 cap full of white spirit to every litre of oil, make sure you filter it properly though

why do you wanna do this though??

i know someone who goes to the local chip shop to refuel, it runs fine as well an cost nothing

used chipfat has lots of crap in it that will seriously damage your engine if u run it unfiltered

and i dont mean bits of carbon floating in it - i mean fatty acids, trinitroclycerides and other nasty corrosive things

get a guide and make biodiesel - thats the only safe stuff to use
