altho didnt think i was going to get it as at first the stupid woman at cis thought i was trying to open a new policy and they refused to insure me
but i said hang on a minute i had a gte group 12 at the age of 19 why wont you insure me on a group 14 at 23 nearly 24

MK2 gti's are very nice cars, and white is a tidy colour as well.

If your nova was cheaper then i would be interested, i just ain't got your asking price at the minute tho.

I know that feeling... the drive back from Bristol with the GT-Four was amazing!! And insurance wasn't much more than the salon and hatch put together.

Can't say I was a great fan of the Mk2 Golf, but a mate of mine has one with a VR6 engine, and he's smoothed some of the bodywork out and tbh I do like it a lot. My dad's also got a Mk3 GTi, which I quite like too.

Mike.
13-02-05, 11:15 AM
mk2 golfs are the best in my opinion the mk3 was starting to get slow and fat

Wicked, Kinda miss my golf.

I used to have a white GTi 8v Digi, the only thing with digi is the lag You'l know what I mean after drvining it for a while. I wanted to drop a 16v lump into mine butnever actually bothered and the insurance was too much so i ended up selling her.

ah well, get some pikkies up man.

Heres mine in all her former glory.

even a 16v wouldnt touch 110 in third tbh, unless there was some supercharger power in the equasion.

Nice Golf Epo, i like the Mk2's and Mk1's the best. A lad round here has a VR6 in a mk2, and it flies, flew past one of my mates doing i'd say 140-150mph +

Another one of my friends has a 200SX and has just bought a turbo for it, and it's like the size of a house, needs a 15 litre intercooler tho ! lmao

What year is yours??? Has it got CE2 wiring?

Quick cheak: Where is your hazard light switch?

If u have CE2, get a set of Mk3 golf stalks as well. Straight plug and play, if not... Worth upgrading anyway. Stealable from any Scrayard's

epo
13-02-05, 07:20 PM
the hazard switch is behind the steering wheel on top if you know what i mean

Rexy
13-02-05, 07:26 PM
good stuff, you've bought yourself a 90 spec Golf mk2.

The ce2 Wiring is Plug and play, Makes engine conversion Miles Miles easier...

Get some Mk3 stalks fella, direct fit.
