How does the side repeater com out of the wing? (Mk1).
The lense screws off and it leaves bulb and a bit of plastic.

i think you have to squeez a clip in behind the wing and then it just comes out then you have to take off the wire

They unclip at the top and bottom, but as baxter said they break really easily.

Slightly off topic but where did you get those repeaters?

I want some that are the same shape as the standard Nova repeaters, but clear.

Yep, ebay is a good place to get them, there's alwasy a set on there. Alternatively, I think Carisma (http://www.carismastyle.co.uk) sell them.

As for those little white repeater clips.... i found it best to take the bulb out and use a couple of small flat bladed screwdrivers to push in the tangs (top and bottom from memory) and "gently" ease it out that way. Be prepared to lose a bit of paint through rust and screwdriver scratching though!!

yeah - you'll see a small white clip on the plastic - theres a notch in the wing - the clip site behind it.

You may need to cut the wires to fit new repeaters.

If (like me) you cant get the bugger out and end up breaking the clip - the only way I could get mine out was to break the plastic and using long nosed pliers to hold on to it, push it into the wing then pull it back out.

Giving it an occasional twist also helps

Worst case scenario is to remove your wing - good opportunity to remove the wing areal if you do that too!
